About our Club

Rotary in Sherborne is a thriving group of motivated men and women from the town who, as well as socialising and enjoying the company of like minded members, are well known in the town for the events we organise including SHIFF, our International Film Festival, the Great Western Run, our annual 10K run and the magical Hidden Gardens of Sherborne weekend and the Sherborne Classic and Supercar event.

In a town which is known for its schools, it is not surprising that our activities include running Rotary competitions including the popular Youth Speaks which is well supported by many of the schools in the town.

We meet regularly at The Britannia Inn, and have a very full programme of activities which includes support and fund raising for our local community, working on a number of international projects, and a range of social activities which ensure that we have fun as well as working hard

Short of time but want to support Rotary?  Find out what Rotary is about.

We believe there are people in our community who would like to support Rotary but don’t have the time to commit to weekly meetings.    If you would like to be able to support your local community and have skills and contacts which will help our club to achieve more, then why not join us as an Associate Member?     As an Associate Member there is no commitment to attending weekly meetings, you just bring your skill and enthusiasm to our activities when you have the time, and you are always welcome to join us for our social activities.
